General Summary of Position:

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for Adjunct Professors (standard teaching load 2-3 courses per semester). The successful candidates will be expected to begin work in September 2019 and assist in teaching a range of undergraduate mathematics classes including Precalculus, Calculus and Statistics.

 Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Applicants must have earned an MA or MS degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline

Additional Considerations: 

  • College-level teaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations
