General Summary of Position:
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for Adjunct Professors to teach 1-2 courses per semester, beginning as early as September 2019. Instructors are needed to teach classes that may include: Applications Programming (MatLab), Medical Device Design, Bioinstrumentation and Lab, Quantitative Physiology and Lab, Biomechanics, Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena, Biomaterials, and other courses as required. We are also actively seeking individuals to develop upper-level undergraduate specialization courses in the areas of Medical Device Development, Biopharmaceuticals, and Medical Imaging.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Applicants must have earned an MS degree in biomedical engineering or closely related disciplines to be considered
- An earned PhD in biomedical engineering or closely related discipline
- College-level teaching experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations
