The Testing Center (TC) Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of managing a full-service, nationally certified, testing center for the university. The TC Coordinator oversees and evaluates all testing and placement activities; coordinates access and support for UMass Boston students using online placement tests and in house assessments; and creates a reservation process for tests, as well as vetting proctoring requests from faculty and for students enrolled in online courses from other colleges and institutions. The incumbent will develop relationships with faculty, staff, administrators and external partners, and will collaborate with them to offer an array of activities in the testing center that assist with student retention and program development. S/he will uphold and enforce the university code of conduct, and the standards and guidelines of the National College Testing Association (NCTA); and will ensure the highest ethical standards of a secure, quiet and safe testing environment.
