| Reporting to the AUL for Academic Engagement in Healey Library, and working closely with colleagues in ROI, the AUL for Collections and other library units, the Liaison Librarian provides in-depth library research and instructional support at the University of Massachusetts Boston. This full-time position will collaborate with colleagues in the library and across campus to instruct, engage and support the nearly 17,000 students, and 1,100 faculty in the full range of library resources and services, on and off campus. Healey Library is restarting and revitalizing its Liaison Librarian program, whereby each librarian in the unit will teach information literacy sessions and workshops in General Education, but each will also have subject specialty areas on which they will focus for other workshops, and will also contribute to Collections activities, such as communicating faculty suggestions to the Head of Collections, sharing in review and trials of databases, and related activities. |

| University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking part-time program supervisors with interest and experience teaching elementary or special education in public schools to supervise teacher candidates in their practicum.
Program Supervisors observe, coach, and train undergraduate candidates seeking teacher licensure, working collaboratively with teacher preparation faculty on supervision protocols, and executing the state mandated Candidate Assessment of Performance (CAP). Supervisions typically occur 1-2 times per month on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., in schools located within an hour radius of Lowell, MA. Supervisors observe and meet regularly with teacher candidates during their practicum. |
