Part-Time Lecturer – Economics

The Department of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth seeks Part-Time Lecturers to teach Principles of Micro, Principles of Macro, Intermediate Micro and Macro, Healthcare Services Administration Capstone, and other classes as needed.

 Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • hold a Master's degree or higher in Economics
  • Have taught at least one semester of a comparable class at the college/university level 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching the courses for which we need coverage.
  • Experience teaching face to face and online modalities with exemplary teaching evaluations.
  • PhD in Economics.

Instructions

  • a cover letter indicating your qualifications, your areas of teaching experience, and your availability in the Fall and Spring semesters for face-to-face and online modalities.
  • CV
  • Names and contact information of at least three professional references
  • Student and/or peer evaluations of teaching.
