SBS Dean's Office - Human Resources Specialist (Hybrid Opportunity) UMass Amherst
Under the general direction of the Director of Personnel for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS), the Human Resources (HR) Specialist supports the College in meeting its operational and strategic objectives, with a high degree of judgment, initiative, and leadership.  This position serves as an advisor and consultant on matters related to human resource management, personnel policies and procedures.
Major Gifts Officer UMass Boston
Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Principal and Leadership Gifts, the Major Gifts Officer is primarily responsible for developing managing, implementing, and overseeing strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of approximately 100-125 prospective leadership gift donors. The Major Gifts Officer will create individualized solicitation plans leading to major outright and deferred gifts of $25,000+, integrating unrestricted and restricted gifts, endowment, annual and capital gifts in support of University fund raising priorities. Responsibilities will most significantly include the identification, cultivation and solicitation of new prospects for the University. The Major Gifts Officer will serve as a fundraiser for University-wide targeted initiatives and will work closely with colleagues in University Advancement, Dean’s, faculty and senior administrators in developing and implementing key fund raising strategies and activities.

Research Assistant UMass Boston
The Research Assistant (RA) for the Center for Social Development and Education (CSDE) will provide project coordination and research support for exciting and dynamic research and program evaluation related to youth with intellectual disabilities. The RA will work with a team of researchers on projects focusing on school belonging, attitudes and perceptions of disability, social inclusion of students with disabilities in schools, and social identity development in children and adolescents. Under the supervision of the Project Director, and as part of the larger research and evaluation team, the RA will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of one or more projects and assist in study design and data collection.
