Reporting directly to the Dean of the College of Engineering (CoE), the Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance provides leadership, organization, analysis and management for the administration, finance and planning functions of the college and its associated departments and programs. Assistant Dean takes steps to ensure services function effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as University policies, practices, and procedures. The Assistant Dean provides executive-level work to analyze and address matters of financial management and planning including the development of sophisticated financial or statistical reports and presentations that inform best practice decision-making, leading the College towards established goals or future objectives.

Post Doctoral Research Associate (Psychology and Emerging Technologies) UMass Lowell
The School of Criminology and Justice Studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The position will conduct research as part of a US Department of Defense Minerva Research Initiative grant “Machine-Moderated Moral Injury: Exploring the Double-Edged Sword of Algorithmic Decision-Making in National Security” under the supervision of Associate Professor Neil D. Shortland. This is an interdisciplinary research project that involves PI and Co-PIs from Psychology, Criminal Justice, Robotics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Philosophy. We are open to individuals from any of these disciplines. The eventual candidate will be expected to work across multiple project strands that will cover all these disciplines.
