Assistant Director, Writing Center UMass Boston
The part-time Writing Center Assistant Director will assist the Director of the UMass Boston Writing Center with tutoring and programming support. The Assistant Director will help the administrative team with daily tutoring-related activities and ongoing consultant training, as well as provide routine and timely information to faculty, students, consultants, and other university stakeholders. The Assistant Director will also facilitate writing-related programming for students and faculty, participate in programmatic assessment, and contribute to writing reports, social media materials, and other content for the Writing Center. This position is a 0.5 FTE. This position requires in-person work on campus and might require some weekend and evening hours.

The Assistant/Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment is responsible for planning and executing recruitment and yield strategies for the assigned degree programs. The Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment will also participate and support evaluating and summarizing applications for admissions. Collaborating with the Corporate Partnership team, the Assistant/Associate Director of Graduate Admissions identifies target companies and builds company pipelines for graduate students.
EDP Programmer II UMass Amherst
The EDP Programmer II supports the research and teaching missions of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics - a large research and teaching department with several hundred computer users that teaches 15,000 students each year - by maintaining the integrity of operating systems, software and hardware for workstations, desktop computers and servers in a highly dynamic multi-platform computing environment. Supports the administration of all departmental UNIX/Linux, MacOS, and Windows computer systems and the department’s local area network, and assures that an effective and smooth running operation prevails and that the high standards set forth are maintained.
