Peoplesoft Database Manager (Hybrid/Remote Opportunity) UMass Amherst
The Peoplesoft Database Manager has primary responsibility for the reliable and secure operation, management of the PeopleSoft software, Oracle database, and related software components underlying the PeopleSoft Student Administration software and other administrative information systems. The PeopleSoft Database Manager ensures the stability, security, and performance of PeopleSoft applications critical to the UMass Amherst operations and academic functions.
Postdoctoral Research Associate - Chemical Engineering (multiple positions) UMass Lowell
Engineering Biology: The successful applicants will work on one or two projects investigating the 1) digital integration of freeze-drying (lyophilization) of biologics and mRNA, 2) digital twin modeling system development of biologics, 3) synthetic biology project of biologics, Cell&Gene therapy biomanufacturing, and 4) mRNA continuous production process. The position will be core staff of a federally funded projects with a few industry collaborators. The initial appointment will be for ONE year with a possibility of renewal based on productivity and performance and the availability of funding.
Assistant Professor (Art & Art History) UMass Boston
The Art and Art History Department in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning September 1, 2025 in the area of Printmaking and will oversee our spacious, state of the art printmaking facility and to teach key courses in our studio art curriculum— undergraduate intaglio and relief printing processes. The print studio has three presses, including a new Takach Etching press. The applicant should be an artist with a record of creative practice in print and a working knowledge of related art forms such as digital printmaking, photography, drawing and book arts. Knowledge of contemporary approaches to printmaking and its art historical significance is also essential.

University Police Officer UMass Boston
The University Police Officer will perform a full range of law enforcement functions. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 253 of the Acts of 2020 (“An Act Relative to Justice, Equity and Accountability in Law Enforcement in the Commonwealth”), the position of: The University Police Officer position is a regulated by the Massachusetts Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). University Police Officers are appointed as sworn police officers pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws chapter 75, section 32A and chapter 90C which grants University Police Officers the same authority, immunities and privileges as a duly appointed and qualified sworn police officer acting elsewhere in the Commonwealth. Under the general supervision of the University Patrol Sergeant, a University Police Officer patrols assigned areas of property used, owned, or occupied by the University of Massachusetts and areas adjacent to the university to provide a safe and secure environment for all members of the University community by means of an alert and vigilant preventive patrol. Work is performed in accordance with federal, state, and local laws as well as university and departmental policies, procedures, and general orders. Work is reviewed by inspection, through verbal and written reports, and by results achieved. University Police Officer candidates must have successfully completed a Massachusetts Basic Police Training Program from an accredited police academy, approved by the Municipal Police Training Council (MPTC) or have successfully completed training that is substantially equivalent to or greater than that of a Massachusetts police officer at a comparable level of experience to obtain an academy exemption through the MPTC. Contingent upon appointment, the appointee(s) shall be considered probationary through twelve (12) continuous months of service, beginning on the date the appointee(s) report for duty.
