Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director of Dining Services (EDS), responsible for the overall success of Retail Dining Services (RDS) and oversight of the day-to-day operations of Residential Dining Services (RDS). The Director of Dining Operations provides leadership in developing and executing strategies to deliver high quality dining experiences and excellent customer service to University students, faculty, staff, campus visitors, and guests, while achieving operational and financial goals and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are maintained. Specific areas of responsibility include the oversight of the University's self-operated dining operations, maintenance, and janitorial. |
Deputy Athletic Director for Development

The Deputy Athletic Director for Development plays a key role in advancing the philanthropic mission of UMass Lowell Athletics. As a joint member of the University Advancement and Athletics teams, the Deputy AD will lead fundraising efforts for the university’s Division I athletic programs. This includes the cultivation and stewardship of donors capable of making major and leadership-level gifts to support athletic scholarships, facility enhancements, and programmatic excellence.
Working closely with the Director of Athletics and Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations and Revenue Strategy and reporting jointly to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and the Director of Athletics, the Deputy AD will manage a portfolio of approximately 100+ prospects and donors, and will develop customized engagement strategies that align donor interests with the priorities of the athletic department. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing more than $1M annually over time and will be expected to conduct at least 144 meaningful donor meetings per year. |

Reporting to the Engineering Department Chair, the Administrative Manager will work closely with the Chair and serve as a liaison to the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) Dean's Office, the Unified Procurement Services Team (UPST), the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS), the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), Human Resources (HR), and other relevant stakeholders on matters related to the department's finances, budget, personnel actions, student requests, and day-to-day administrative operations. The incumbent will directly supervise staff and serve as the main point of contact for the department. |

The Assistant Dean of Finance and Planning provides leadership, organization, analysis and management for the finance and planning functions of the college and its associated departments and programs. The professional in this role takes steps to ensure services function effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as University policies, practices, and procedures. The Assistant Dean provides executive-level work to analyze and address matters of financial management and planning, including the development of sophisticated financial or statistical reports and presentations that inform best practice decision-making, leading the College towards established goals or future objectives and in support of its social justice mission. The person in this role works closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure proper coordination of leadership strategy and personnel actions. In addition to directly supervising two staff members in the Financial Services Office, this role provides functional oversight of all financial functions and may provide functional supervision and direction to other staff members in the performance of finance-related duties. |
