Coordinator of Academic Support Services (part-time/temporary)

The Centers for Learning and Advising and Student Success (CLASS) is a centrally coordinated student academic support center and provides advising, tutoring, success coaching and a wide range of academic support services to all UMass Lowell students which include managing two testing centers on North and South Campus. The Centers for Learning is actively engaged in university-wide student success initiatives and partners with academic colleges, student affairs and other units on campus to support the retention, persistence, and graduation of all our students.
The Coordinator of Academic Support Services is part of the Centers for Learning Academic Support Services team. There are 3 areas of responsibility for this position: 1.) Assisting with coordination for the south campus testing center 2.) Engage in pro-active outreach to undergraduate students to support their overall success; 3.) Collaborate as a member of the CLASS Academic Services team in the delivery of academic support and programming. |

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for two full-time, non tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor to start on Sept 1, 2025. Primary responsibilities are to provide high quality teaching and service to the department. This position is renewable annually, potentially leading to an appointment as Associate Teaching Professor following six consecutive years of outstanding performance evaluations.
UMass Lowell is located about 25 miles northwest of Boston in the high-tech corridor of Massachusetts.
Responsibilities will consist primarily of teaching existing courses at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will be involved in coordinating multisession classes, advising students, in outreach activities, our continuing efforts to improve the department's educational mission and other departmental service.
