Assistant Professor Tenure Track - Finance 

The Charlton College of Business at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Finance, effective September 1, 2026. A completed doctoral degree in Finance is preferred; however, candidates who are ABD and near completion will also be considered. Professional certifications such as the CFA designation are highly desirable.

Candidates should be qualified to teach a range of finance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful applicant will also contribute to enhancing experiential learning opportunities for Finance majors by helping grow the Charlton College of Business Investment Portfolio through active use of the Bloomberg Business Lab.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the candidate is expected to engage in scholarly research leading to publication in quality academic journals, provide service to the university, college, and profession, and advise the Student Investment Club as part of the college’s experiential learning initiatives.

For candidates appointed at the ABD level, continuation of the contract will be contingent upon completion of the Ph.D. by December 31, 2026. Applicants must meet the academic qualification standards as defined by the Charlton College of Business in accordance with AACSB guidelines.

SALARY: $140,000 -$155,000
