The Employee Services Specialist II is responsible for ensuring the University’s ongoing compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. The individual is responsible for the setup, auditing, analyzing, and addressing tax inquiries relating to payroll. The individual may also work with partners in other departments such as HR Applications, Human Resources, Treasury, and Controller’s Offices. The individual will communicate directly with campus leads and employees of the University. |

This position will include working with the Commonwealth Honors College Residential Community (CHCRC) residential hall staff to plan inclusive and co-programming to ensure that all CHC students experience a living and learning community regardless of their residential area. This position will also plan and implement various co-curricular and extracurricular programming and assume responsibilities for the CHC inductions for our first-year students at the beginning of the fall semester. Additionally, this position will coordinate recruitment and outreach activities in collaboration with the UMass Amherst Office of Admissions. This position will also supervise the student ambassadors who are involved in recruitment and outreach events and activities. |

Communicates via state and national criminal databases to other police departments to report on criminal activity. Extensively documents actions and outcomes from all police, fire and medical incidents occurring on campus into a computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) system. |
