Executive Assistant I UMass Amherst
The Executive Assistant I supports the social justice mission of the College by providing comprehensive, executive level, administrative support to the Dean of the College of Education. Assisting in a wide range of complex and confidential matters including overseeing the Dean's schedule, screening visitors and phone calls, reading and responding to daily emails, composing or preparing other correspondence, researching and preparing reports and presentations, and maintaining paper and electronic files. Provides similar administrative support to the Director of Development. Reports directly to the Dean of the College, with independent decision-making responsibilities, under established guidelines, particularly in the absence of the Dean.
Case Manager UMass Amherst
Under the general direction of the Assistant Dean of Students, the Case Manager performs a variety of functions and responsibilities related to the delivery of non-clinical case management to students through outreach, advocacy, support, and helping students connect to university and community resources.
Fellow (Office of Energy Transformation) (part-time/temporary) UMass Lowell
The Office of Energy Transformation Fellow will work with the Massachusetts Office of Energy Transformation to assist in advancing policies, programs, and initiatives to implement the state’s lead climate and clean energy mandates affordably, equitably and sustainably. The Office of Energy Transformation Fellow will assist in developing the strategic execution of work groups focused on one of four areas, depending on interest and alignment of skill sets, related to the gas-to-electric transition, readying and decarbonizing the electric grid, pursuing alternative mechanisms to finance investments in the electric utility distribution grid, and enabling sustainable economic development. The Office of Energy Transformation Fellow will also help support convening of an Energy Transformation Advisory Board (Advisory Board), comprised of senior level representatives from across the energy ecosystem in Massachusetts, including utilities, environmental justice organizations, policymakers, financial institutions, clean tech, power generators, labor, renewable energy developers, academic institutions, and others. Finally, the Office of Energy Transformation Fellows will support the execution of regional community meetings to share information about the work of the Office of Energy Transformation and elicit feedback and input to incorporate into future efforts.
Assistant or Associate Director, Graduate Recruitment UMass Lowell
The Assistant Director or Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing strategic recruitment and yield initiatives to attract and enroll students in assigned graduate programs. This role involves representing the university at recruitment events, college fairs, and information sessions (in-person and virtual), as well as organizing webinars and targeted outreach campaigns to engage prospective students throughout the recruitment, admissions, and matriculation process. The Assistant/Associate Director leverages data and enrollment trends to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, improve yield outcomes, and ensure enrollment goals are met. The role emphasizes creating a positive and personalized candidate experience while expanding access for diverse student populations, including international, domestic, and non-traditional learners. Collaboration is central to this position: the incumbent partners with admissions staff in application evaluation, works with the marketing team and academic departments to design and refine program-specific marketing materials, and engages with faculty, the Corporate Partnership, international regional recruitment, student success teams to build strong pipelines with employers and enhance graduate opportunities. At the Associate Director level, this role may also include supervising recruitment staff or graduate assistants to ensure high-quality and consistent outreach efforts.
Club Powerlifting Coach (part-time/temporary) UMass Lowell
This position will oversee all aspects of the Powerlifting program training. The coaches will work with team captains to facilitate practice plans and teach drills. They will teach strategy, attend every practice, or competition, and the coach will help manage team dynamics. The coach will also work with the club’s executive board, who oversee all scheduling and fundraising efforts.
