Job Summary

The Finance Department at Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure position at the rank of Lecturer. Candidates must be able to teach a variety of finance courses in our curriculum. Successful candidates will have expertise or evident potential in providing quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. A demonstrated ability to teach in both face-to-face and online education formats is highly desirable. In addition, faculty members in these positions are also expected to make strong service contributions, such as mentoring and advising students, aiding student clubs, and supervising independent student projects. The appointment is expected to begin on February 1, 2025. Salary is commensurate with experience.

 

Requirements

Applicants must be either academically or professionally qualified as defined by AACSB criteria. Academic qualification requires a master’s degree with substantial work experience in finance. An earned doctorate in Finance and/or Economics is preferred.
