The Francis College of Engineering seeks a Director of Student Success and Academic Initiatives to provide college-wide leadership, coordination, and operational support for initiatives that advance student success, enrollment growth, retention, persistence, graduation, experiential learning, assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement across undergraduate and graduate programs. Reporting to the Dean of Engineering and collaborating closely with associate deans, departments, professional advising staff, Admissions, Institutional Research, International Programs, and other university partners, the Director will serve as a primary coordinator and project manager for academic initiatives that strengthen the full student lifecycle, from recruitment and enrollment through graduation and post-graduate success.

The Centers for Learning, Advising and Student Success (CLASS) is a centrally coordinated student academic support center and provides advising, tutoring, success coaching and a wide range of academic support services to all UMass Lowell students. The Centers for Learning offers these services on both north and south campus and has professional advisors located both centrally and within the academic colleges. The Centers for Learning is actively engaged in university-wide student success initiatives and partners with academic colleges, student affairs and other units on campus to support the retention, persistence, and graduation of all our students. This professional academic advising position requires an advanced, developmental, proactive problem-solving approach to advisement to ensure students succeed academically and are fully engaged in their educational experience. The primary responsibilities include advising a caseload of first-time freshman and/or transfer students on program requirements and registration issues, degree planning, monitoring student progress, re-enrollment outreach, and supporting at-risk students. The position also involves assisting with the support of various activities and events promoting student engagement and community building. Participation in recruitment, outreach and orientation activities required.

The Management Department at the Robert J. Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell, is seeking applications for the Robert J. Manning Endowed Chair in Corporate Sustainability, a tenured full-professor appointment. We invite applications from tenured full professors or advanced associate professors from AACSB-accredited schools. The ideal candidates possess a record of nationally recognized research in Corporate Sustainability or Corporate Social Responsibility as evidenced by publications in top-tier journals. In addition, they can demonstrate excellence in teaching and service within their academic community and profession. Preferred candidates will also have strong external engagement with academic associations such as the Academy of Management and the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability. The successful candidate will maintain a high-quality research agenda, mentor Ph.D., graduate, and undergraduate students, and collaborate with faculty. They will also develop courses on Corporate Sustainability and/or Corporate Social Responsibility at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Additionally, they will continue their external service to the profession.
