Technical Assistance Associate UMass Boston
The Technical Assistance Associate supports assigned projects at the Institute for Community Inclusion. They will provide technical assistance and training related to postsecondary education for students with intellectual disability, in collaboration with the Technical Assistance Manager, Alliances Manager, and Program Directors. The incumbent will serve as a technical assistance provider, documenting and addressing requests. They will support and contribute to the development of training resources and information through multiple formats including online learning resources, research-to-practice briefs and how- to guides, virtual resource repositories, as well as conducting in-person and remote trainings, webinars, and conference presentations. They will provide administrative support for the technical assistance team such as soliciting and receiving reports, tracking and receiving deliverables, scheduling meetings, and following up with partners as needed. The position may be held remotely, but regular nation-wide travel will be required.
Research Associate II UMass Boston
The Research Associate II (RAII) assists the Inclusive Postsecondary Education Team in developing and managing cross project research and evaluation projects addressing state and federal services that support postsecondary education, transition to college, and employment and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual disability. The RAII will participate in all aspects of the research and evaluation program, including development of qualitative and quantitative research protocols, design and management of data collection procedures, survey development, data collection, data analysis and the interpretation of results, coding of qualitative data and data cleaning. The RAII will oversee management on online database projects, assist with testing and development, and support revisions/refinement of existing systems. The RAII will also develop written and web-based products for multiple audiences, including secondary and higher education professionals, individuals with disabilities, family members, state and federal policy makers and the research community. The RAII may supervise the work of other staff on project specific tasks and may provide general supervision to one or more staff. The RAII may work remotely.
EDP Programmer II UMass Boston
The Gift Processing and Data Coordinator for University Advancement will be responsible for providing coordination of activities relating to data and gift processing. Also, run batch reports of gifts recorded and acknowledgement letters of donation. Work closely with the Director of Advancement Information Systems to maintain the Ellucian/Advance database structure; ensure data integrity, create and run reports. Oversee data entry staff and ensure that data is being accurately recorded in the Advance system. He or she will be responsible for compiling address mailings for targeted solicitations to send to the external mail houses. Perform other duties as required or assigned. The Gift Processing and Data Coordinator will be a member of the advancement team and report to the Director of Information Systems. The position will be responsible for maintaining an integrated system of daily gift batches entry, production of gift receipts, individualized acknowledgement letters, posting batch control reports and gift transaction reports in accordance with established procedures.
