General Summary of Position:

The Division of Graduate, Online & Professional Studies (GPS) is seeking a full-time systems and operations technical leader who can manage and optimize key enrollment technologies—primarily Slate, Salesforce, and related tools—to support recruitment, admissions, and re-enrollment efforts. The position focuses on ensuring data integrity, streamlining workflows, and leveraging reporting and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making. It also requires cross-functional collaboration, campaign and performance tracking, and providing training and support to staff, all while maintaining efficient, high-performing systems that support overall enrollment strategy. 

The position will align and optimize the systems used by enrollment teams to support a seamless and high-functioning enrollment cycle from funnel to graduation. The BA will also focus on data flowing through these systems to ensure they support business processes within GPS and peripheral units that rely on GPS data/information.

 Partner with GPS enrollment and data staff, Enterprise Applications, and University stakeholders to design and implement data quality processes across GPS systems, leveraging knowledge of business processes and student lifecycle data flows to ensure:

  • data remains accurate, current, and free of duplication
  • data elements are added to GPS systems to facilitate operations and support enrollment
  • data elements passed through enrollment system integrations support GPS needs and University data requirements

Provide comprehensive support for all GPS technical platforms to ensure system functionality, reliability, and alignment with operational needs. Slate Business Analyst for GPS – Serve as the primary Slate resource by managing system functionality, user roles, security, training, vendor coordination, system enhancements, and ongoing performance monitoring to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

  • Configure and optimize Slate workflows, rules, queries, forms, portals, and communications to support efficient admissions and enrollment operations
  • Oversee data management processes, including imports/exports, system integrations (e.g., SIS, CAS), and data quality controls while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Conduct data audits, validation, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve system or data issues and maintain overall data health
  • Design, build, and analyze reports, dashboards, and queries to support enrollment strategy, decision-making, and data-driven insights (e.g., funnel performance, application trends, yield analysis)
  • Sales Force CRM system for GPS – Serve as a key team member responsible for the maintenance and optimization of Salesforce CRM and GPS marketing automation operations supporting recruitment, admissions, and reenrollment
  • Assist in the development, deployment, and tracking of digital and traditional marketing, recruitment, and reenrollment campaigns
  • Under the direction of the Executive Director, work with GPS Recruitment, Admissions, and Advising teams to operationalize and maintain custom reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decision making
  • Support training for new and existing staff on Salesforce focusing on training staff to use enrollment systems to support a optimization and scale, and a streamlined enrollment cycle. This includes onboarding and updates related to system changes and enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree required 5 years of technical professional work experience within higher education specific to admissions or enrollment systems.

Demonstrated technical skills:

  • Demonstrated experience using Salesforce
  • Demonstrated experience using SLATE
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Canvas or another LMS
  • Ability to master new technology used in enrollment processes
  • Extremely detail-oriented, and deadline-driven; fanatical about checking own work, with high standards for accuracy
  • Process-driven, always looking to optimize and streamline processes
  • Knowledge of data capture and management strategies
  • Ability to work independently and be goal driven/oriented

Additional Considerations:

  • Previous experience with Student Information Systems and application systems Platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making kills
  • Knowledge Marketing Cloud or other Marketing Automation systems are desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time

This is a hybrid position with the expectation of being on campus for 3 days per week.

This position is full-time, benefited and in the SEIU Professional union in grade P19. Anticipated salary based on qualifications and experience. Minimum $77,885, 25th quartile: $89,568 and midpoint: $101,251.
