Clerk IV (Administrative Assistant) UMass Amherst
The Administrative Assistant and Institute Coordinator for the Slavery North Initiative will provide administrative support to the Institute and its Director as well as logistics support for its interested stakeholders and outside community members.
Assistant Director UMass Boston
Reporting to the Senior Director of Pathways & Student Success Programs, the Assistant Director serves as a member of the Pathways & Student Success Programs team and collaborates with colleagues to design, implement and assess high-impact, culturally sustaining and evidence-based programs and services that support students in achieving academic, career, and personal goals. The Assistant Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the career development program of the department (Student Support Services, Directions for Student Potential, Pathway Program) as well as the career instructional materials. The incumbent will work closely with the Senior Director, Director, and Assistant Director of Curriculum to train advisors and instructors and to assess materials and ensure the effective execution of all financial literacy and career-related aspects of the department. The Assistant Director will also work closely with the Senior Director to ensure high-quality recordkeeping of the Student Support Services program through adequate federal standards and periodic assessments of the databases (i.e., Student Access, PeopleSoft, and Salesforce).
