Job Summary 

The Work Management Manager manages, plans, develops and schedules the long range and programmatic maintenance program. This position acts as the administrator and the process and procedure manager for Facilities & Campus Services’ (F&CS) computerized maintenance management system and is responsible for the program’s efficiency analyses. 

 

Essential Functions 

  • Manages the daily operations of the Work Management Department including the work management specialists providing direction on process and procedure ensuring efficient and effective workflow. 
  • Acts as the F&CS administrator for the F&CS Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), addresses the needs of users, resolves data and process issues and creates customized reports and programing templates. 
  • Manages and documents current and future business processes for continuous quality improvements. 
  • Manages multidepartment initiatives that require extensive attention to detail and ability to track complex projects from inception and creates and implements auditing measures. 
  • Manages communication expectations for Work Management Specialists in Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and other data management programs. 
  • Devises, establishes and benchmarks key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance tracking tools to analyze the performance of F&CS. 
  • Creates and updates training documents to ensure accurate, consistent, and current messaging, communicates system-wide changes to Building Maintenance staff, provides guidance on processes and procedures relating to CMMS use and provides training to new CMMS users. Facilitates intake meeting structures. 

 

Other Functions 

  • Participates in project-based initiatives. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure) 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and three years of related experience. 
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience. 
  • Advanced organizational skills, ability to manage several projects simultaneously, and capacity to handle competing priorities in a complex and dynamic working environment. 
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and use independent judgement to coordinate, manage, and impart information, develop and implement policies and procedures, and incorporate them into efficient and effective workflows.

  • Participate in sensitive and/or not yet public University-related information discussions used only in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position and that every effort must be made to prevent unnecessary disclosure of information to others. 
  • Strong computer skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure) 

  • Experience in higher education. 
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Typical office environment. 

 

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm.
