General Summary of Position:

The Graduate, Online & Professional Studies team is seeking a part-time Support Specialist. This role is vital to supporting the needs of the Undergraduate & Graduate admissions, recruitment, advising, and student services teams through various administrative tasks, customer service and student support. A strong desire to provide top-tier customer service is a must.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; answering phones, processing paperwork related to student applications, processing registrations for non-matriculated students, entering transfer credit information, answering emails, updating and maintaining student records.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • HS diploma or GED/equivalent required and background in customer support
  • Preference to those with previous higher education experience
  • Must be proficient in MS office

Special Instructions to Applicants:

This is an on-campus, part-time, non-benefited, non-unit position – 18 hours per week. The GPS office is open from 8:30 am- 5:00 pm, M-F.  The ideal candidate will be available to work at least three shifts per week, with at least one shift until 5pm, and have Friday availability.
